These coffee bikes were created by Tom Ritchey, innovator of mountain biking in the United States and owner of Ritchey Design, which enables coffee farmers to travel safe, faster, and produce a higher quality of bean.

We are working to make these coffee bikes accessible to Rwandan farmers as replacements for the rickety handmade wooden bikes farmers were using to transport the heavy coffee cherries from the coffees to the washing station.
